TCEQ Public Notice - Lead & Copper sampling for Murphy Well

In accordance with Texas Commission on Evironmental Quality (TCEQ) regulations, our office will be mailing water customers that receive their water from the Murphy Well #6 located on State Hwy. 19 N., a public notice that Bethel-Ash WSC has failed to complete all monitoring or testing for Lead and Copper for the period of June 1 to September 30, 2023 due to an internal documentation error which resulted in the absence of testing for this sample period.  

As we cannot guarantee the quality of your drinking water during that time period, Bethel-Ash WSC has increased water sampling from 10 samples annually to 20 samples every 6 months to meet TCEQ requirements.

At this time there is no action required by our water customers, but if you have any health concerns, we encourage you to talk to your doctor to get more information.
